STEM

This year we have introduced a new subject at Year 7-10 called STEM, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Over the past few weeks, students have been undertaking a range of assessment tasks in programing a robot to travel through a maze, patrol an area or be guided by a TV remote to drive around a course. The level of engagement and the development of problem-solving skills has been amazing – event the teacher has learnt a lot from his students! In the coming terms, students will explore drones, design C02 cars and construct solar cars.
