Jack’s “Chain-Reaction” Presentation

Last week the Preps and Year 1/2 classes were treated to a special presentation from Jack Cooper in the Year 5/6 class showing us how he made a model to demonstrate a chain reaction. The students in our class were fascinated to watch Jack set up and activate his Lego model and then to see it work again on the big screen TV in slow motion. He also showed us a poster which displayed the process and steps that he went through to get to his final product.

Thankyou to Jack and Mrs Hayward for their special efforts. It was a great example of purposeful learning in action. The Prep class had many questions to ask Jack as a result of his presentation and I’m sure that many of them are now thinking about how they can do something similar.
