Beyond the Classroom

Good Shepherd College offers a wide variety of experiences beyond the classroom

The college enters teams in regular Basketball, Football, Cricket, Tennis, Shooting, Lawn Bowls and Netball competitions and competes with local schools in Swimming, Athletics and Cross-Country.

Music participation is encouraged across the college, with Vocal Ensembles, Chamber Choirs, German Shepherds Band and regular musicals. Our Year 5/6 students participate in an instrumental music program where the college provides instrumental teachers and instruments for students in small groups learn clarinet, flute, guitar or cajon.

Public Speaking and Debating play a significant part in the life of the college, whilst vocal and instrumental groups provide a number of public performances throughout the year.
