GSC Swimming Carnival

Last Monday students from Year  5-12 participated in the annual swimming carnival in same way shape or form. Students have been putting a lot of work into their swimming training session at the senior campus. There will be some very competitive times across all age groups this year in sport in general. There were some great performances such as Jayde Rentsch who continued her dominance to win a sixth straight age group champion in the 18 year old girls. Will Wilkinson won his fifth 50 m backstroke title. Zoe Rouse showed the benefits of hours of training in the pool in putting on a dominant display in the 14 year girls. I was again very impressed with the performance of all students. Everyone should be very proud of themselves. I would also like to thank the parents who attended for supporting the first of our big events. Thankyou also to all staff for putting in a great team effort. Glenelg district swimming will be on the 21st of February at the outdoor pool.
