Kayaking

Last Friday we had a great day of kayaking with the students in Year 5 to Year 10 participating in sessions at the lake. The weather was perfect, with the Lake Hamilton and Grangeburn River providing a perfect venue for this activity. Students paddled from the boathouse, under the footbridge and up the Grangeburn. This was great preparation for their full day of kayaking on the Glenelg River coming up next week. It was also a great opportunity for the Year 5/6 to have a try of kayaking. Kayaking days for next week are as follow:

Monday –  Year 8,

Wednesday –  Year 11 & 12,

Thursday –  Year 9 and 10

Friday –  Year 7

Students should ensure that they bring drink; lunch, a change of clothes, hat, sunscreen and shoes (not thongs) for going in the kayak.
