Junior Campus Re-organisation

November 19, 2019

You may have noticed at the Junior Campus a flurry of activity, along with congested corridors of furniture and books. This is because we are doing some reorganisation of rooms and spaces for 2020. This will consist of relocating the library inside the main building (opposite the existing music room), the renovation of a new Learning Support area for students and teacher aides, and the moving of the Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 classrooms to make way for the additional Year 2 class next year. The Year 5/6 classroom will relocate to the library, the Year 3/4 class will move into the old Year 5/6 classroom and the new Year 2 class will move into the current Year 3/4 space. Most of these moves will take place when students leave at the end of the year. In addition, some extra workspaces will be created for the Head of Junior Campus and Personnel Officer.

There are also plans for painting the Art Room and external Library during the summer holidays. There is no doubt that the Junior Campus will be an even more energetic and busy learning space in 2020.
