Australian Education Awards 220 – GSC Finalist

At the end of last week, we were greeted with the news of Good Shepherd College being nominated as one of eight finalists for “Regional School of the Year”.

This award recognises academic achievement, co-curricular excellence and innovative educational experiences in a regional setting. A group of independent judges reviewed a large number of schools across Australia, including our joint submission with Lutheran Education Australia – Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania. This is an amazing recognition to the staff, students and families who have supported the college over the past few years. The hard work, dedication and persistence of everyone has been acknowledged by the judges in short-listing our school for this award. The college is now preparing a submission for a new panel of judges to determine this year’s winner in November. Well done to everyone for humbly playing your role in the success of the college.
