Ag Project – Chicken Tractor

During this COVID period we have commissioned a number of small infrastructure projects to support student curriculum initiatives. One of these projects is the construction of a chicken tractor, a mobile chicken coop designed to support our “teenage” chickens. This project also doubles as a soil tester, with students measuring soil nutrients before and after the chicken coop has been used, as a practical demonstration of the nitrogen cycle. A very special thank you to Miss Emma Jurecky for the design and Mr Rex Wedding for building the coop.
