Live4Life Colourful Run
Almost a year to the day our original Colourful Run was cancelled, we finally got to hold it over the weekend! The VCAL students worked hard to put together this fun event. They brainstormed, allocated jobs, wrote letters, sorted out teams for each splash zone, set up tents, ensured we were Covid safe and covered a variety of runners and walkers who began the day in pristine white but ended up being colourful walking dust clouds! We had participants all the way from Edenhope!! Mrs Stickland and Mrs Sherry even tried to catch the Mayor, Bruach Colliton, to cover him in colour! Alas, he was faster than they were!!
The Applied Learning class supplied the BBQ, various staff helped us out (thank you so much!) and other students and their amazing parents were there to take photos, help with setting up and the clean up! Although the clouds threatened to explode all over us, the held off until the very end of the day! We are so happy we were able to add some colour to Hamilton!
