Last week I wrote about my favourite season, Autumn, as being somewhat predictable. Little did we know that the predictability of school was about to be turned upside down again and we would be thrown into remote learning.
Parents and caregivers, we thank you for your patience and understanding, and for the positive way you have endeavoured to take on the tasks passed on from our staff.
Teachers, we thank you for adapting your planning to accommodate the challenges of remote learning, while placing the students as the number one priority.
Teacher Aides, we thank you for the important role you carry out in the classrooms, helping those students who are unable to learn at home. Thank you for being their ‘parents’ and for helping them progress through the work.
Admin staff, we thank you for being proactive as you care for the whole college community. You are often the face and voice of the school for our parents.
We are blessed to be part of the Good Shepherd College community, and we are excited to have our students back on campus from tomorrow!
