Welcome to another exciting year of sport at Good Shepherd. As usual, Term One is jam packed with a range of sporting activities, mostly being Swimming and Athletics.
Swimming – Our Annual Swimming Carnival (Year levels 5-12) will be held at the Hamilton Outdoor Pool on Wednesday 16th February. As a lead-up to this, we held a training day today, where most students were able to test their skills prior to nominating for carnival events. Another training day will be held this Monday 7th February. Please ensure those involved bring swimmers, towel, goggles and any other appropriate swimming gear.
Athletics – Athletics skills are being covered over the coming weeks in PE lessons. We will be running, jumping and throwing our way towards our carnivals. These will be held on the following dates:
Junior Campus: Wednesday 2nd March (at the Junior Campus)
Senior Campus: Friday 4th March (at Mitchell Park)
We are very much after parents willing to assist with our Swimming and Athletics Carnivals. Please contact one of the office staff to put your name down as a helper, or email myself (Julian Gollasch) email@example.com
