Year 12 Events
On Sunday evening, our Year 12s spent time“ decorating” classrooms and passageways in all manner of creative ways to “surprise” students. All of this was done in a fun, but respectful, way and provided an exciting start to the week for the rest of the Senior Campus. This was followed on Monday by a special assembly, where our Year 12 students led devotion and a special Year 12 Kahoot quiz, followed by the recognition of co-curricular achievements of all Year 7-12 students and a special video from the Year 12s. The Year 12 co-hort are to be commended for the way they have engaged in these activities.
On Tuesday morning, our Year 12 students came in to organise a special assembly for me as a farewell gift. They asked a number of past students to provide a video clip on their time at Good Shepherd as well as organising a special Kahoot quiz on the Principal. Joel Jackson, as Service Captain, spoke on behalf of current students, while Mr Gustav Pohl wrote a special “rap” on his experiences with me as a staff member. It was a wonderful surprise and greatly appreciated.
