GD Swimming

Last Wednesday our secondary school swimmers took part in the GD Swimming Carnival at the Hamilton Outdoor Pool. This was against some very high standard swimmers from Portland, Heywood,

Casterton and Hamilton schools (8 schools in total). Our students were outstandingly behaved all day and represented our college well both in and out of the pool.  We had many placegetters throughout the day

with the following students receiving individual ribbons; Imogen Wedding, Corey Plunkett, Angus Stewart, Makayla McCrostie, Elijah Hepner, Hamish Murrihy and Gabi Rentsch. We also had 3 of our relay teams

receive third place ribbons. First placegetters have qualified for the Regional Swimming Championships in Horsham on Tuesday 14th of March. Information letters were given out earlier this week.

Special mention goes to Imogen Wedding (12/13yrs) and Angus Stewart (17yrs) who won age champion medallions. An incredible achievement.

Primary Division Swimming

Thursday we had nine swimmers competing in Warrnambool against students from Warrnambool, Port Fairy, Cobden, Terang, Portland, Heywood, Hamilton and surrounds. These students will be trying to qualify for Regionals in Horsham on Tuesday 14th March.
