Term 1 recap

The end of daylight saving arrived over the weekend and I must admit I was very thankful for a slower start to Sunday morning! This term has been big, and by big I mean HUGE! 

We had our commencement service, have held swimming practices, welcomed families with a special BBQ, held Parent Information Evenings, a swimming carnival, formally welcomed and installed Melissa Evans as our Principal, had ID photos taken, ran, throw and jumped on Sports Day, participated in inter school events such as swimming and athletics, completed professional learning, held tours, Chapel services, pancake day and a ‘when I grow up’ dress up day, sang in the choir, written sentences for ‘word of the week’, heard some musical performances, completed NAPLAN and watched the musical, Legally Blonde Jr, all while learning the curriculum!

Schools are truly amazing places and we are blessed to be here at Good Shepherd College.
