HPV Race Report: Race 2 Tailem Bend

We are delighted to share with you the impressive achievements of our teams at the recent race held in Tailem Bend, South Australia. Our GSC Racing team members showcased their determination, teamwork, and passion for riding, resulting in commendable rankings in their categories.

The day started off wet with some rain in the first 90 minutes. The track dried out halfway through the race, so riders enjoyed faster, safer laps as we went along. Senior team had only one decent crash (by James in the first minute of the race). On the other hand, all but one of the Junior riders had a crash (lucky Jed!).

Fastest laps:
There was only 0.835 seconds between the two fastest senior lap times: James recorded 3:46.852 and 3:46.997 in his second stint, but Wynn went on to complete the 2.8km in just 3:46.017 in the final half hour.
Alex had the fastest lap for the juniors, with 4:13. Elijah was the second fastest rider with a best of 4:28. The fastest laps in each category were 3:31.985 (Senior) and 3:38.881 (Junior).

Results:
Senior team (Time Warp) finished 11th out of 38 in their category (S3), and 45th overall with 79 laps completed. Junior team (Green Lightning) finished 22nd out of 38 in their category (S2), and 101st overall with 61 laps completed. 152 trikes started the race.

We are incredibly proud of our riders and thankful for their efforts. We also once again pay our huge thanks to the parent helpers that make these events so enjoyable!
