Music & the Arts

Music is offered as a subject to all students from Prep to Year 10. Music provides a unique way of learning and correlates superbly with the college programs.   Students are encouraged to sing and/or play musical instruments as well as rehearse together in choirs, bands or be involved in the college P-9 musical.

Musical

College musicals are held biannually and involve many students.

  • 2016 – “H.M.S. Pinafore”
  • 2017 – Junior Concert: “Read between the Lines”; Senior Drama Production.
  • 2018 – “Pirates of Penzance”
  • 2019 – Junior Concert: “Show Time”; Senior Arts Exhibition Evening, ‘Solve my Problem’ & ‘Sleeping Handsome’.

College Choirs

German Shepherds Band

Students have the opportunity to perform with the college’s community band, the “German Shepherds” at various functions including the Promenade of Sacred Music.
