This tailored roadmap ensures that whether a student is pursuing university entrance or hands-on career training, they receive the exact mentorship, resources, and subject combinations they need to achieve their individual goals.

In Years 9 and 10, our students enjoy greater flexibility and choice in shaping their individual learning journeys. While anchored by a strong core curriculum, our program empowers students to explore diverse subjects that challenge, inspire, and extend their capabilities.

Our curriculum fully aligns with the Australian Curriculum framework, and the LEVNT Christian Studies Framework, ensuring all students build essential knowledge and skills. Years 9 and 10 at our school operate as a dynamic, two-year learning cycle designed to help students expand their horizons and preview future career pathways. This cohesive approach gives students the time and space to dive deeper into core subjects, experiment with exciting new electives, and build the foundational skills needed for senior success. By exploring diverse interests early on, students gain the confidence to shape their unique academic journey and smoothly transition into the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or the VCE Vocational Major (VCE VM).

Senior School: Years 11 & 12
Our students future isn’t one-size-fits-all—their education shouldn't be either. At Good Shepherd College, our senior campus offers a truly holistic, personalised approach to learning. We design senior programs to be both challenging and supportive, giving students the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence to step into tertiary study, training, or the workforce.
Shape Your Pathway
We offer a diverse range of flexible options to help our young people tailor a school experience that matches their individual goals and strengths.
VCE or VCE Vocational Major: Choose the qualification that fits the chosen career pathway. Our blended learning preparation program mixes face-to-face and online study to get students ready for university and adult learning environment.
VET Options: Partnering with local providers, we offer hands-on Vocational Education and Training in high-demand fields like Hospitality, Automotive, Engineering, Equine Studies, and IT.
School-Based Apprenticeships: Get a head start on career development with part-time apprenticeships available in 12 designated industries.
Academic & Personal Care: Balanced studies with Christian Studies and dedicated, facilitated study lessons designed to maximize learning outcomes.
