Agriculture
Agriculture & Rural Industries
Good Shepherd College specialises in offering a range of agricultural experiences for young people who have a passion for developing their skills. With a fully operational farm on our Senior Campus and a dedicated team of volunteers led by an experienced farm manager, the college provides hands-on learning for students aiming to pursue a career in a wide variety of rural industries.
Hands-On Learning & Co-Curricular Engagement
Our popular lunchtime Ag Club provides a fantastic space for students to actively engage in their agricultural pursuits. Through the club, students gain direct experience with:
Cattle handling and preparation
Alpaca care and management
Sheep handling and husbandry
Students also have the unique opportunity to showcase their hard work by showing sheep and cattle at our local regional shows and the prestigious Royal Melbourne Show.
