Lutheran Church

The Lutheran Church is a Christian Church which believes in and worships the Triune God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, through which he reveals himself to us, calls us to follow and serve him, and gives us the good news of forgiveness through Jesus.

Good Shepherd College is supported by eight local Lutheran congregations located at Coleraine, Cavendish, Heywood, Portland, Hamilton, Tarrington, Tabor and Warrayure.

Get Involved

These local congregations have Bible study groups, ladies fellowship, junior and senior youth, young men get-togethers and ‘shed men’. Kid’s ministry takes place during the church service for children under 12 years of age.

Combined Services

A combined college / church service is held a number of times each year. This worship service involves a number of college students in conjunction with local members of the supporting congregation.
