Chess Tournament Success

22 of our Year 5 & 6 students attended the Southern Grampians Chess Tournament last Friday. There were 74 chess players altogether on the day. We had some incredible individual and team results. From an individual perspective we managed to achieve 9 of the top 10 places and 17 of the top 20. Good Shepherd College easily won the overall school champion trophy. This gives 5 of our players a chance to compete at the State Championships in Melbourne in October.
