Japanese Exchange Students

March 15, 2019

Our 10 Japanese exchange students arrived last Friday, after sports day, and have enjoyed countless new experiences during their short day. Some of these have included visiting the Princess Margaret Rose Caves, the Blue Lake and trying to practice their English skills every day.

As a part of their stay, Mrs Maria Patience and some of her Year 10 English students, will be undertaking ESL lesson with the Japanese students. This peer teaching has shown to improve not only the exchange students learning, but also those teaching. We look forward to hearing their stories as the days progress – especially their trip to Hall Gap Zoo, which appears to be one of the highlights for their stay based on recent conversations I have had with them.
