40th Anniversary Celebrations

October 20, 2022

Last Saturday and Sunday, the College hosted over 100 people to celebrate our past 40 years of operations at the Senior Campus. It was a great time of reminiscing and reflecting on the people and events which have shaped this community. Past pastors, principals, staff and old scholars joined together to celebrate. During the Saturday night dinner, the 40 year history book “Courage, Commitment and Confidence” was launched by the author, Frank Lehmann, a long-serving teacher and administrator at the college. In between stories and reconnections, guests were able to look through past memorabilia and other historical items from the past. On Sunday morning, over 150 people attended the thanksgiving service, followed by student led tours and a shared lunch. Thank you to all of our current families who donated food as a part of the celebration. A very special thank you to Victoria Easton, Linda Stickland and Helen Roseburgh for the countless hours of preparation and assistance over the two days. I would also like to acknowledge Angela Kenna, our Chapel Band, Robyn Linke, student leaders, Josh Bell and Elise Rhook who also volunteered their time to assist over the weekend.
