GSC Racing is Recruiting!

Tarrington and GSC families, the Good Shepherd College Human Powered Vehicle teams are recruiting! HPV is a unique sport and the GSC Racing teams have a supportive yet competitive culture where new riders are very welcome and everyone’s personal best is celebrated.

GSC Racing compete in the Australian HPV Super Series, several weekend team cycling events in South Australia between April and September, with weekly afternoon training sessions at the Hamilton velodrome.

We have many opportunities for anyone who wants to be involved. Students are given opportunities to ride in the HPV trikes, achieve fitness goals, and support their teammates. Students and their families are also encouraged to help with team management and learn the mechanics of the trikes.

GSC Racing registers two teams: one for younger students (Years 5-9) and one for older students (Years 9-12). If you enjoy cycling, you are encouraged to come along to our HPV Parent Information session (5pm Tuesday 7th February at Senior Campus) and Come and Try sessions at the velodrome (TBC). Our current students and families always welcome new and returning members into our fantastic GSC Racing team.
